We seek to build a positive community where young people can appreciate themselves and others as valuable individuals. This becomes the foundation for building good self-esteem through strong peer friendships and adopting a long term approach to their sexual health and well being. It addresses the issues young people actually want to talk about.

The clear message presented is that having sex won’t answer these ‘who am I?’ questions and that delaying sexual activity is a positive choice and a useful foundation for finding these answers.

This approach also prepares young people for future sexual activity. Just because young people say ‘no’ now doesn’t mean that they always have or that they always will. Negotiating and practising safer sex is addressed in an environment where young people are not playing top dog in the sexual experience department.

The clear message presented is that knowing how to protect, control and express yourself will open up possibilities for deeper relationships and a healthier sex life in the future.
